New Colors of California Collection

Colors of California Collection

WOOED celebrates the beauty and diversity of our home state in the new collection: Colors of California. Featuring 6 varied colors and designs handcrafted from reclaimed maple and sustainable bamboo, each pair of sunglasses in this series pays homage to the wonderful and diverse people of California.

CA Rainbow Red features wayfarer inspired frames hand stained with eco-friendly hypoallergenic colors to produce a sleek black rim and a unique multi-colored striped arm reminiscent of a candy cane. These wooden sunglasses are made of reclaimed maple and sustainably grown bamboo. The colorful leg is formed from multi-ply maple that is reclaimed from the skateboard manufacturing process. Bamboo is fast growing and needs no replanting, pesticides or fertilizers, and its roots retain water in the watershed, sustaining riverbanks and reducing water pollution.

We love creating designs that not only look good, but work exceptionally well. Our wooden sunglasses are designed to accompany you through your every adventure and all over the world – whether in the city, along the beach and even through the forests. That’s why they are equipped with high quality 100% UVA/B polarized lens. Polarized lenses reduce your exposure to sunrays and reflected light from bright surfaces like water, windshields, oncoming cars or snow that can that cause eyestrain and fatigue. Our polarized lenses guarantee you will see pure colors and precise details like never before.

Comfort and Durability

Many of our fans also testify for the comfort and durability of our wooden sunglasses. They are even fitted with polished stainless steel spring-mounted plunger-style hinges to ensure a comfortable and perfect fit. Sunglasses from the Colors of California collection are lightweight, water resistant and even float on water, making them the perfect choice for any pursuit, from lounging by the pool to the ever-active surfing holiday.
